Ahhhhh.........Bullet. There's a sad story behind his name.........but were wishing for a happy ending..... A couple from MN were driving down the road one day when they happen to come across a cat (which they thought had died) in the middle of the road. Then, they noticed movement from the cat and decided to stop. They learned the cat was still alive, however in very rough shape. He had blood all over his face (hence, the pic) and it seems he was shot between the eyes (hence, the name 'Bullet'). This wonderful couple rushed him to the Medford vet where he was treated. Bullet was cleaned up (as best as they could) and xrays revealed the bullet was still lodged in his neck (and still is). This amazing couple, along with our wonderful shelter manage, Deb Kennedy, shared the expenses for Bullets treatments, shots and neutering. Bullet also has a quarter of the tip of his tail "dead" and will possibly need to have it removed. Bullet is healing nicely. We already know their are angles out there that saved his life. Now he just needs an angel (or two) to keep living it...........
